Venting Spaces (VS) PTE. LTD. is a Health and Wellness platform. Our primary goal is to provide you with services like counselling, fitness training and nutritional coaching to aid you in venting healthily. 

 

Venting Spaces services are 60 minutes per session unless stated otherwise. Please be on time as we are not liable if the session is unable to extend as we book the specific 60 minutes slot for you.

On rare occasions that Zoom has an issue, please provide clear screenshot/video proof to show us and email it within the first 10 minutes of the arranged duration. We reserve the right to approve or decline the proof if it is unclear. 

 

The counsellors assigned to you will follow through unless any disputes are made. Important note: Our services are not meant for anyone who has been clinically diagnosed or is suicidal.

 

1. Thank you for choosing Venting Spaces!
 

1.1 These Terms of Service govern your access to and use Venting Spaces services.
 

1.2 Please read the terms carefully and email us at ventingspaces@gmail.com should you have any questions.
 

1.3 By accessing or using our services/products you agree to be bound by these terms. 

 

2. Privacy Policy 
 

2.1 Venting Spaces shall implement and maintain reasonable procedures for protecting personal information in compliance with applicable law and the Venting Spaces Privacy Policy. 

 

2.2 We understand the importance of your information and will only save it in our database accessible by the core team of Venting Spaces and the professional that is attached to you at the given point of time.

 

3. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

 

3.1 Counselling/Coaching involves sharing sensitive and personal information. Anything you share during our sessions will remain strictly confidential, except in four circumstances:

 

a. If something illegal has occurred

b. If persons intends to harm himself/herself

c. If records are subpoenaed by a court of law

d. If there is an occurrence of child, elder or dependent adult abuse or neglect

 

 

3.2 All Counsellors with Venting Spaces are under the supervision of licensed Clinical Supervisors and in order to ensure that Counsellors receive the best possible training & upgrading of their skills to serve their clients well, sessions may be videoed or audiotaped with client’s knowledge & permission. 

 

3.3 These recordings will be viewed only between Supervisor & Counsellor and will be erased once the training & supervision session is completed. The identity of the client will not be revealed to the Supervisor.

 

3.4 The clause in 3.2 and 3.3 are strictly between you and the counsellor. 
 

3.4 If you are in any sort of emergency, or suicidal please seek immediate help with Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) at 1800 221 4444 or visit their website. 
 

3.5 No Responsibility Disclaimer: None of Venting Spaces, its authors, contributors, counsellors and anyone else connected with Venting Spaces in any way whatsoever, can be responsible for your use of the information contained in or linked from Venting Spaces.
 

3.6 VS will do it’s due diligence to inform you of the professionals’ credentials based on what was submitted by the professionals. 

 

4. Intellectual Property Rights
 

4.1 You may only use the materials on the site for your own personal, non-commercial use.
 

4.2 You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, record sessions or transmit any material on our sites except sharing our content on our platforms to other third party sites (like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram). 

 

4.3 You must not:

a. Modify copies of any materials from the sites.

b. Use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or graphics separately from the accompanying text.

c. Delete or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from the site. 

d. Reverse-engineer or otherwise attempt to steal the software code of the sites. 

 

4.4 Any use of the sites not expressly permitted by these Terms of Use is a breach of these Terms of Use and may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

5. Advertising and Endorsement

 

5.1 Venting Spaces may present advertisements for or any links to third-party websites, products and/or services (“Third-Party Ads”). 

 

5.2 We are not responsible for the availability of these Third-Party Ads, or the images, messages, or other materials contained therein.

 

5.3 Neither Venting Spaces nor any of its affiliates will be liable for any errors in content or omission in the Third-Party Ads and is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred as a result of participation in these Third-Party Ads.
 

5.4 Venting Spaces reserves the right to use your name and testimonial for publicity purposes. However, your picture will only be used subject to your consent. 

 

6. Counselling Sessions

 

6.1 Venting Spaces uses Zoom for all sessions. On our part, we will ensure that counsellors practice safe practices with Zoom by ensuring that a meeting ID and password will be used. 

 

6.2 Venting Spaces will email these details to the counsellor and user once the meeting has been created. 

 

6.3 The counsellor who is the host of the meeting will do their utmost best to ensure your privacy at all times. However, please read the privacy policy and terms and conditions by Zoom as we are limited by the security on their end. 

 

6.4 If you have concerns about your online safety, you may opt for an audio call via the platform instead. Amidst this, please do be assured that with VS, confidentiality is our utmost priority.

 

6.5 Two meeting IDs and password might be sent to you in case the session cuts at 40 minutes which should not happen with only two parties involved in the call.
 

6.6 Counselling is to have someone to journey with you during a difficult season to raise awareness of yourself, to explore new ways of doing things together and to make room for change in a safe space. Our counsellors will do their utmost best to provide you with each session to the best of their expertise. 
 

6.7 You will be provided with information on the counsellor, their schedules via email before the booking. Once you’ve made the payment and booking you are agreeing to the counsellor that will provide his/her services to you. 
 

6.8 You are warmly encouraged to give your feedback after every session directly to the counsellor or email us at ventingspaces@gmail.com if there is something you would like to change about the session.

7. Payment Terms

 

7.1 All payments will be made via Venting Spaces’ preferred mode of payment at any given time. 

 

7.2 All payments have to be made during the scheduling of appointments. Payment made is an indication of the reservation of a slot.  A screenshot is to be produced as evidence of payment.

 

7.3 No refunds will be provided once the counsellor and user entered the meeting room.

7.4 No refunds will be made if you fail to comply with the terms stated in this document. 

 

7.5 Once appointments are made, cancellations are to be made more than 72 hours before.  Any cancellations made within 72 hours or unanswered calls will deem the session consumed, no refunds will be made.

 

8. Termination

 

8.1 The counsellor may refer you to alternative forms of mental health support under the following circumstances:

 

1. He/She is unable to continue offering online counselling sessions for personal reasons. 

 

1. Your concerns are beyond the counsellor’s scope of competency and/or require in-person care.

 

8.2 If either of these situations arises, the counsellor will definitely discuss the next steps in a way that respects your personal preferences, constraints, and mental health needs.

 

8.3 You are free to stop using the services at any given point of time and note that whatever payment has been made before the choice of termination will not be refunded. 

 

8.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate you under the following circumstances:

1. You’re in breach of these terms

2. You use the services to harm others 

 

8.5 We reserve the right to terminate you to our discretion and without notice.

9. Notification of Changes
 

9.1 We may revise these terms from time to time to reflect:

1. Changes to the law

2. New regulatory requirements

3. Improvements or enhancements made to our services.
    

9.2 The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change these Terms ("Updated Terms") from time to time. Unless the Company makes a change for legal or administrative reasons, the Company will provide reasonable advance notice before the Updated Terms become effective. 

 

9.3 You agree that the Company may notify you of the Updated Terms by posting them on the Site. 

 

9.4 Your use of the Site after the effective date of the Updated Terms constitutes your agreement to the Updated Terms. 

 

9.5 You should review these Terms and any Updated Terms before using the Site. The Updated Terms will be effective as of the time of posting, or such later date as may be specified in the Updated Terms, and will apply to your use of the Site from that point forward.
